DOGMA |

Dogma has been my main character since last December and was one of my first characters. He is a sorcerer at heart with skills in all four schools of magic. Creature, Life and Item are all trained skills but he has killed some of the most difficult and some rewarding [loot wise] creatures. He has specialised war magic which has saved his life many times, getting that 'last bolt' that might have been resisted by other mages, but instead hitting the killing blow. He has had two patrons in his time and only ever taken up one vassal, a personal choice since until recently his own cashflow was problematic. Now, however, Dogma is a main source of income for my characters, even with a low strength start he carries enough loot to buy his comps and have plenty to horde/share amongst the other characters on the account. He has been Player-Killer [PK] only twice in his life. One of his first battles was against two characters which he managed to kill after a great battle. Dogma is great for some casual PKing, but doesn't have the potential Qantis does. |

Dogma, as far as I know, has no particular reputation on Leafcull. I would assume he is neutral in a trade situation, edging on trsutworthy with the higher level characters of the server that he has dealt with.

Dogma can cast level V spells unbuffed and VI spells when buffed. He is a robe mage, that is he carries no death items of particular value, including his wands, which can be easily replaced and aren't an essential part of his buffs. |

QANTIS |

Qantis is my most recent addition to the account. She has no war magic and having just trained healing at level 20 she has no scope for obtaining it. For me this has offered no problem as of yet. I had help, however, getting her up to level 13 from Dogma's current vassal. At which point she could cast level IV protects and tank a Lithos Lugian alone. I gave her Medium Shadow Armour so she could be the equivalent of a robed mage, except her increased strength [original creation of 50 strength] lets her carry enough components and still be able to wear armor. In her later levels this will prove a great asset in carrying the hundreds of components a mage needs to last longer than an hour. |

Having played Dogma to a reasonable level I have attempted to create Qantis as the 'mage I always wanted', that is one that has some stronger PK ability. Her specialised Creature and Life magic will give her a boost over some PK mages, and indeed melee battlers. In Player Vs. Monster she is already quite strong, having a high base mana conversion she can drain and kill lugians whilst 'tanking' them. Qantis has great scope and only a short way to go before true greatness. |

NEPHAND |

I never created Nephand as a particularly serious character, just one of those ones to give me a break from magery and, well, buffing. I went for the usual specialisation of Arcane Lore, Melee Defense and his weapon skill, sword. Sword is probably the most common weapon used by warriors in Asheron's Call, and quite a hard one to get by with in damage terms since bludgeon is the most preferred, but he can take olthoi efficiently and I am yet to try him out on tuskers, since I think he has a way to go before those. It is most notable that he has 12 skill credits free. My plan for Nephand was to take Life magic at 55 having saved level's 52,53,54 XP points. With this skill he ought to be able to vuln many creatures in the game, and an imperilled tusker goes down very quickly to him. |

The above damages were with lvl VI debuffs on the creatures, he has managed to one hit an umbris with such debuffs, and that was in his early 30s. Although this isn't something unqiue to Nephand it is a very appealing feature, in my opinion. I have various clothings for Nephand that give him great protection from the monsters he fights. A great shield, a superior helm [at the time of writing the only item to buff melee Defense, but this may change], Sword Mastery IV gauntlets buffing his skill to 284 at last count. He has been hit for 0 by all olthoi types, although this isn't consistent so doesn't take all the fun out of them. |

I hope you are attracted by the characters available to you, and with this account comes two mules of generally ok-ish stuff, should you want to take on low lvl vassals. | ||
